Pool Removal - Demolition
Has the time come to remove your in-ground swimming pool? Are you ready to regain that space in your backyard?
Our crew has extensive experience in removing Gunite, Shotcrete, Concrete, Vinyl Liner, and Fiberglass swimming pools!
Most contractors will recommend the easy way out, however complete pool removal is your best and the only option NJ DEP accepts. This process gives you the best final result with the least amount of yard settlement. Your pool is broken into manageable pieces and completely removed from your property instead of simply burying it in the backyard, which is no considered illegal dumping.
If there will ever be building in that area, there will not be buried rubble to have to sort through in the future.
Have you found or had an old pool filled in on your property? We have handled this situation before as well. We handle all excavation, screening and certification of the pool being completely removed and recycled/disposed of properly!

The Removal ProcessIn New Jersey a demolition permit is required. We handle all paperwork for the permitting process. This takes anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks depending on the individual town. Next we schedule our crew(s) to begin pumping out the pool, get our access clear and begin removing debris.

InspectionAll pool removal projects require inspections by the city building department. All trash, metal, and rebar needs to be removed from the pool hole/site. New Jersey DEP - NO LONGER allows debris to be buried in pool demolition/removal projects. Concrete can be reused as fill, but must be broken up into no larger than 6"x6" rubble with no rebar reinforcement remaining.
We haul away all debris for recycling or disposal. |
